Privacy Policy
Last updated: 9 October 2026
This policy explains what Namoye does with your personal information. In short: you tell us what you need, we check your phone number, and we pass your request to one verified professional who contacts you. Namoye is free for you. This policy is written in plain language. If you have a question about it, email info@namoye.com.
Who we are
Namoye (namoye.com) is a matching service. We are not a lender, insurer, tradesperson, school, healthcare provider or adviser, and we don’t provide the services you ask about. We pass your request, through our lead delivery platform (SalesExperte), to a professional who does.
What we collect
- What you give us in the form: your name, email address, phone number, region, postcode, ZIP or postal code, the service you want, and anything you tell us about your request, including answers to the extra questions on the form.
- Phone verification: we text a one-time code to the number you give, to check it is yours and to reduce spam and misuse.
- Your consent: the exact wording you agreed to, its version and the time you agreed.
- Technical information: your IP address, browser and device type, the page you were on and the link or campaign that brought you there.
- Reviews: if you leave a review, what you write, your rating and your agreement to publish it with your first name and town.
How we use it
- To match your request with one verified professional who covers your area and does the work you asked about.
- To check your phone number, prevent spam and fraud, and keep the service secure.
- To contact you about your request, and to send you an email confirming it.
- To keep a record of your consent, deal with complaints and meet legal obligations.
- To understand how our forms and pages work, so we can improve them.
We use your details to deal with your request. We don’t use them to send you unrelated marketing.
Who we share it with
- One professional: we share your details with the one verified professional matched to your request, so they can contact you. They are responsible for what they do with your details after that, and for their own advice, quote and service.
- Our service providers: companies that send text messages and email, host our websites and help us run the service. They may only use your details to provide that service to us.
- Authorities and advisers: where the law requires it, or to protect our rights, and our professional advisers.
- A buyer of our business: if Namoye is sold or merged, your details may pass to the new owner, who must follow this policy.
Professionals pay us for requests that fit what they offer. Under some US state privacy laws, sharing your details for that reason counts as a “sale” of personal information. We don’t sell your details to anyone else, and we don’t share them with unrelated advertisers.
Phone calls, texts and email
When you tick the consent box, you agree that Namoye and the professional matched to your request may contact you about it by phone call, text message and email. The wording on the form for your country says exactly what you agree to. You can withdraw your consent, or opt out of messages, at any time by telling the professional or emailing info@namoye.com. You can reply STOP to a text. Consent is not a condition of buying anything.
Cookies and similar technology
We use a session cookie to check your phone number during the form, and one cookie that lasts 30 days to remember which version of the form you were shown. If you have an account or leave a review, WordPress sets the usual cookies. We don’t use advertising or analytics cookies at the moment. Our pages load fonts from Google, which means Google receives your IP address when the page loads.
How long we keep it
We keep your request for as long as it is needed to deal with it, to handle disputes, to keep a record of your consent and to meet legal obligations. After that we delete or anonymise it. If you want it deleted sooner, ask us.
Where it is processed
We, our service providers and our platform may process your information in countries other than the one you live in. The professional who contacts you is local to you. Where the law requires it, we use safeguards for transfers across borders.
Your rights
You can ask us to tell you what we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, to stop using it or to give you a copy, and you can withdraw your consent at any time. Email info@namoye.com and tell us which country you are in. We will answer within the time the law of your country requires. Some details we must keep for legal reasons, and we will tell you if so. If you are not happy with our answer, you can complain to the regulator in your country:
- United Kingdom: the Information Commissioner’s Office.
- Australia: the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
- Canada: the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada, or in Quebec the Commission d’accès à l’information.
- Singapore: the Personal Data Protection Commission.
- United States: your state attorney general or the Federal Trade Commission. Residents of some states have the right to know what we collect, to delete it, to correct it and to opt out of its sale, and we will not treat you differently for using those rights.
Security
We protect your information with sensible technical and organisational measures, and we check phone numbers before a request is passed on. No system is perfectly secure, so please share only what you are comfortable with and keep sensitive details, such as detailed medical history, for your conversation with the professional rather than the message box.
Children
Namoye is for adults. Please don’t send a request if you are under 18.
Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed, and the version of the consent wording is saved with each request, so you can always see what you agreed to.
